Joseph Roberts is open to commissions, collaborations and advertisements. Spoken word can be used as a modern form of marketing to help connect brands and products with people.


He has previously been commissioned by Nike as part of an LFC Campaign to settle one of
England’s biggest debates:

Is It An Ice Lolly Or A Lolly Ice? His poem took social media by
storm and gave lolly ice’s out at the Liverpool games, boosting engagement and bringingpeople together.

He was also commissioned by the Premier League to celebrate Liverpool Football Club’s PL Title in 2025.

His heartfelt poem ‘All Roads Lead To Home’ gained, millions of views online, connecting fans from around the world and capturing the passion and joy of LFC’s winning moment.

He was also commissioned to write a spoken word poem for BT Sport which first aired on 2nd October 2022. As part of their continued investment, focus and commitment to inclusion, BT Sport celebrated Black History Month with all-new educational, entertaining and inspiring content.

The show ‘Sport In Words’, was a 60-minute show where some of the UK’s best spoken-word artists performed pieces to a star-studded audience celebrating and honouring different black sporting legends.

“Every poem is different. I could set the same task to us all yet everyone would write something completely different. This is because a poem is unique as our own genetic code.” – Joseph Roberts

Being from Liverpool, Joseph wrote his poem ‘One Common Goal’ about the Liverpool legend John Barnes, capturing his achievements and how he has overcame adversity. The show was on throughout the month on BT Sport Channels 2, 3 & 4, with his individual performance as well as others played before advertisement breaks as well as between matches of football and boxing, to promote the show as well as Black History Month.
